I wouldn't expect qbk macros to be expanded in comments and strings 
before or after these changes. I'll see if this can be improved on,
but it'll take me a while to get around to it. Similarly, I don't think the
treatment of titles has changed.

Not yet. I'll keep you posted.

I can also work on a tab-expansion function, which I think we need for source
code (and maybe elsewhere?)
