Guidelines->Writing Documentation for Boost
Takes one to a page last updated Nov. 5 2001.
Huh, I didn't even know we had that page. It's actually pretty good
information, but it describes the required content of Boost
documentation, not the format or the tools available to easily create
the content or integrate it with the Boost documentation tool chain. We
should probably cross-link this with the BoostBook/Doxygen/QuickBook docs.
That would be good.
I don't even know how to navigate to the BoostBook or Quickbook
documentation anymore. I used to be able to get to BoostBook by
some arcane path but I can't seem to find the right combination
of links at the moment.
From the main page, click on Tools. There you'll find links to the docs
for BoostBook and QuickBook.
That's poor placement. I wouldn't expect to find important tools for
creating libraries and docmentation under "Other Resources."
As a neophyte Boost developer, I would expect links to these tools to
be prominently displayed somewhere accessible from the "Contribute"
menu, probably under the "Guidelines" link.
