I still prefer the tabularized function descriptions, FWIW. I vote
for Tabularized. The definition list looks a bit cluttered. It looks
cluttered especially when there is just one parameter.
It's cluttered because of the lack of vertical association between
terms and definitions.
http://boost-consulting.com/mplbook/metafunctions.html#details handles
this much better.
How about now:
Tabularized function descriptions:
http://boost-sandbox.sf.net/libs/xpressive/doc/html/boost/xpressive/cpp_regex_traits.html
Definition list-ified function descriptions:
http://boost-sandbox.sf.net/libs/xpressive/doc/html/boost/xpressive/cpp_regex_traits2.html
I agree that for the DLs, moving the definitions closer to the terms
improves the situation. I can only assume others haven't expressed an
opinion because they don't really care. I'm quickly reaching that point
myself. Joel, does this change your vote? Rene, Dave, Joao, anybody
else, opinions? Let's wrap this up and get the new CSS checked in ASAP.
