You still have the 2-pixel misalignment problem I mentioned earlier. > Definition list-ified function descriptions: > http://boost-sandbox.sf.net/libs/xpressive/doc/html/boost/xpressive/cpp_regex_traits2.html > That's better. I agree that this layout is not particularly easy to read, especially for short parameter lists. > I agree that for the DLs, moving the definitions closer to the terms > improves the situation. Rene, Dave, Joao, anybody > else, opinions? Let's wrap this up and get the new CSS checked in ASAP. My sense is that the real problem I had with both layouts comes from the style of the parameter names. You're boldifying them, using the same size as the heading they're under ("Parameters") and using a variable width font rather than a code font, which is the same as the heading. If they used a code font, and they were properly aligned, I think I would like the tabular layout better than the dl layout. I think if they were not bold that might be better, too. But it's hard to anticipate. -- Dave Abrahams Boost Consulting www.boost-consulting.com ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by xPML, a groundbreaking scripting language that extends applications into web and mobile media.
