yapc needs three rooms with 100+ seats in each for the track talks and
one larger room with 300+ seats.

and where will all the yapc attendees sleep? we still need to arrange
cheap (dorm) lodging. i don't know if we can at mit but we should
ask. some will stay at the nearby hotels so we also want to arrange
block pricing there (if we even can!).

i will be glad to talk to you and i can could even be on a speaker phone
at that meeting if i can schedule it if you want it.

there have been no site proposals submitted as of today so i will
predict the deadline will be extended. :) and it may be that if only one
proposal gets submitted, it will be accepted. this is a good time for us
to get yapc here (with no competition!) so let's find a venue soon and
start on a proposal.

idea: what if we do the conference in kendall sq at this site
and we use lesley's dorms for cheap lodging? they are only 2 stops on
the red line and would eliminate most auto needs! i am such a genius
sometimes! :)

and i like yapc::cambridge over yapc::boston :)

thanx,

uri
