Stacie, let's see if I can help her out.  Might I suggest that we try
to get to the root of the matter first.  Why should she erase her CDB
files if she can't even get to the connectivity menu to do anything
about them in the first place? 

Now, let's start at the beginning, the real beginning.  Linda, Brenda,
the connectivity menu is in the options menu.  Press space with O or
whatever the QWERTY command is,  Go down to connectivity and make a
new connection for her ISP.  She will need the phone number, the
ingoing and outgoing info for mail if she's trying to set that up, and
whether or not Earthlink requires additional stuff.  You will need her
user name and password as well.
