I believe there is some confusion. When you purchase an SMA, you can either purchase it on the compact flash card, which is a little more money, or you can purchase it cheaper, and download it on the internet. The time you couldn't do this was when it was a major upgrade like 6.1. That was on the card, because it was all new formatting. It wouldn't have formatted your BN/VN from the internet.

Greg;
This doesn't make any sence. How are you going to know ahaid of
time what
format they are going to choose to print the update in. that is
not fair.
It should be available in both formats. I have never had a SMA.
I got 5.1
free at last years convention, in 04.

Hello list,
With SMAs you have to remember that an electronic SMA and a
compact flash
SMA are two different things. If you have an electronic SMA and
the upgrade
is on compact flash, you cannot get the upgrade with your SMA and
vice
versa. I found this out when I upgraded to 6.11. I had an
electronic SMA
and Humanware told me that I could not get the upgrade with that
SMA and I
had to purchase a new compact flash SMA.
