It's probably the motherboard. Mine had exactly the same symptoms as yours did. Let us know what all they find out. If it's the motherboard, we can definitely say there's a BN Classic epidemic oing on. Sad grin.

Tried all that.  calibrated the battery about two weeks ago.  Took out all
the cards.  But remember, the battery status was 88 percent before i went to
work.  the machine was off and then it wouldn't work when I tried to turn it
on.  so, the charger isn't the problem, even though I tried charging it and
all that jazz.

Shehry, do you have any CFC cards that could be interferring with a reset?
Could you take them all out and try again?How about your charger? Could it
have a short? When is the last time you calibrated your battery? No, I'm not
blaming you.  It might just be a simple thing.  Hope these ideas help.
