Hey, the installation may be difficult and not user-friendly, but you shouldn't say you would expect it to be easier especially for blind people. <grin> I resent that implied insult to our intelligence. I'm just as dumb as my sighted friends. LOL

However it still says version 6,2 version 25. I tried going through the whole process again but with the same result. The who;e experience so far is far from user centred. This is the sort of installation procedure I would expect to do as a programmer but not as a userm especially a blind user. There are some additional instructions in the trouble shooting section which involved renaming files but I don't want to get into deep water there unless I really have to. Any suggestions at this point?
