Hi Karyn (and Ray!),

if the error message mentioned was "virtual circuit was reset by the
remote side" then it means that the unit is unable to connect to the PC.
For example, I get this error message if I do not have KeySync running on
the PC, or if I terminate KeySync in the middle of the synchronization
process.

First, check if you can see the mPower using activeSync - KeySync runs on
top of activeSync, so if that's not running you won't get far.

Second, check KeySync is running. It makes an icon in the system tray
that you can click on - my apologies, I have no idea how accessible it is,
but then I didn't design it <grin>

Third, if the connection is getting as far as KeySync and then breaking,
there will be a log file. This will be in something like C:\Program
Files\Humanware\KeySync\LogFiles and will begin with a date and end in
.txt. If there is no log file with todays date, it probably means there
have been no successful connections today.

hope that makes sense, and email me if I can help further.

regards,
Andy.

Hello everyone,
We tried using my M-power in both Ray's and my environments on
our Windows XP machine. We got the same error message mentioned
in Ray's previous post on this subject.

Is this a bug in Keysoft 7? If so, will there be a fix soon?
