Hi Bob and list members, >From a student's point of view (there are several high school and college students on this list) BN provides students with a lot of functionality. Bob, thanks for that message. However, I would point out that Windows CE devices like BN doen't have every functionality offered by a Windows-based PC. For example, the processor is different. Also, Windows CE devices have small amount of memory compared to desktop or laptop counterparts. Remember, folks, that Windows CE devices are ment to be PC companions and PDA's not PC replacement or a Windows-based machines (they run differently from Windows). Thank you folks. P.S. I hope HumanWare staff can comment on whatever is being said in this thread.

Well, I don't mean to be rude, but I think those comments are insensitive and elitist. I'm sorry, but not everyone, for various reasons, has a lot of adaptive equipment. We usually get one or two shots at the brass ring in a lifetime. Many of us have chosen the BN, because of its portability, and because of its functionality. To us, it's more than just aa neat little tool; it's everything. People who seem to say that we're wrong to expect a lot out of it are wrong and mis-informed. The fact is, we know exactly what to expect, and Humanware agrees with our high expectations. That's why they came out with the M-power. Those of you who have a number of pieces of equipment should thank God you have them, and not look down your noses at those of us who don't. By the way, this absolutely does not apply to most on this list; just a couple. Comments like the ones I read earlier make me want to unsubscribe. But, I won't. We're all in the same boat on this list, and we shouldn't even imply that folks who don't have as much equipment are somehow inferior. If I'm over-reacting, I'm sorry. God bless.
