Okay,

Before going any further, check to see if it is write protected.

To do this, take the card out of the MPower and hold it so the contacts which
go in first are pointing toward you with the little teeth pointing down just as
it
would be if you were inserting the card.

On the right edge of the card you should feel an indentation just a bit less
than half-way back on the card moving away from you.

There is a little slider in there which you can move with your fingernail and
it slides either toward the contacts (closest to you) or way toward the other
end of
the card.

That slider should be in the position closest to you and the contacts.

If it's in the position closer to the end of the card opposite you (the end
which sticks out after you insert it into the MPower), then it is write
protected.

Since it sounds like you've been moving cards in and out of the bn, maybe you
have to do a reset.

If none of all this works, I suppose it's time for a call to hw. Sure don't
blame you for not wanting to do that again though.

Hello Don,
I don't know if it is right protected or not, but I am really
beginning to believe it is not the card.
I just took the card out so I could copy files to the compact
flash card quickly on the pc, and now I have inserted it so I
could try and reformat it.
Well, the mpower says it cannot find the drive specified.
What do you make of this.
Thanks,
Robert
