No it isn't, unless you want to shell out money for one converter or another.  
I have a Blazer at work, and a friend still uses her classic with the parallel 
port to emboss her Braille music straight from her BN.  I'll have to find a 
serial cable and see if I can emboss using my mPower.  It should work in 
theory, but we all know how far that gets us.--Grin!
