Thanks, Don:
I would think that is the case, guess that's the reason the
comment caught me off guard, <smile>.
Have a great day.

Hi Rhonda,
I certainly can't and won't pretend to speak for Maurice, but
what I understood him to say is that the list is designed for
discussion of problems and issues
and general usage by users. Although Humanware staff may monitor
the list from time to time, any technical support issues needing
a rapid response should
be directed to the appropriate Humanware international location.
In other words, you might get a response from Humanware via the
list and then again you might not.
Actually, I don't see this really as any sort of change since
I've never seen Humanware suggest that they could provide timely
technical support through
such a vehicle as the list.
Many tech support issues can be handled by experienced users and
the list is fine for that, but if you have a problem or other
issue which needs to be
handled in greater depth by Humanware staff, communicating with
the company directly is far more reliable.
It may be that the Humanware presence on list may be different
than in previous times, but I don't think the overall purposes
and uses of the list have really
changed.
Again, these are my own interpretations of what Maurice is
saying, and if I am misstating what he said, then I certainly do
stand corrected.
Don
