Hello,
It seems to me, that people ought to be able to figure out by
themselves what they should contact tech support for and what
they should post to the list.
Regards,

Maurice;
Please define what items you want us calling tech support for.
If you
do not allow some freedom in this area, you are going to be
getting
calls about simple things that can be solved by a question or two
to the
list.
Do you want people calling you just because their machine is
stuck in
one handed mode. I do not think so. From what I have heard from
this
list, your team is having trouble keeping up with us now.
If my problem is not solved by the list serve then I would go to
tech
support.
Please look your message over. I think you have some unhappy
campers
out there.
Terry Powers

BrailleNote List Members:
There have been a number of discussions recently on the
BrailleNote list
of which we would like to address.
The BrailleNote User's email discussion list has existed for a
number of
years and is sponsored and offered by HumanWare. While a number
of
International HumanWare Team monitor the list and participate,
the list
is
provided as a service to the BrailleNote user community for
discussion
of
HumanWare products and as a forum for sharing and exchanging
ideas, not
as
a formal channel for obtaining direct technical or sales support
from
HumanWare.
Requests for support, reporting of possible bugs, and technical
assistance
should be directed via the standard channels listed below:

The list will continue to be provided as a service and you will
likely
see
various staff from the HumanWare team contributing to the
discussions
from
time to time. There are a number of very talented and
accomplished
individuals on the list who very generously give freely of their
time
and
assistance. Their efforts and generosity are greatly appreciated
and
valued by HumanWare. Please continue to utilize and enjoy the
list, and
we look forward to working with each one of you to see the
BrailleNote
and
other HumanWare products continue to grow and improve.
