Hello all,

The cd that comes with the linksys wrt54G router isn't all that accessible unless you have sighted assistance.

If you don't use the cd, you will need to open the web browser on his
computer and configure the router manually. I would recommend using the
cd on his computer. Why do you not want to use it?

Subject: [Braillenote] Question about linksys router

I know that some of you use the Linksys WRT 54 router for
wireless connectivity.
My husband insists that a CD which comes with the router must be
installed into his laptop before I can have wireless by way of
the router and my Ambicom card on the BN mPower.
I've also been told that no software need be installed, just plug
the router into the modem (which is switched to bridge for both
DSL and wireless) and I should have wireless.
I would be interested in people's experiences.
Richard, how did you connect your Linksys?
Thanks in advance for any help!
Kathy who loves wireless when out camping!
