Chaman,

Do not use a null modem cable.

Your best bet is to use the serial port on your Juliet Pro. Change the handshaking in menu two, option 8 from zero, Xon/Xoff to one, DTR and CTS. You would do the following: zero point two enter, eight point one enter one point one enter. Check to see all other serial parameters match between your M-power and Juliet Pro. I believe they would with the exception of the menu item in your Juliet Pro I asked you to change. Menu one is set up for parallel port. If you wish to use that, you will need to get the bluetooth adapter or infrared adapter from Enabling technologies. If you change that one setting, you should be good to go. If you need more assistance, please feel free to write.

Subject: [Braillenote] printing and embossing

hello list.
i tried to use a hp laserjet printer via the serial port. I got a message saying that the printing was complete. But i had nothing print from the printer. I tried to check the communication with the two devices by taking the serial cable out of the bn. After taking out the serial cable i received the same message as before, (printing complete)

The other thing i tried to do was emboss using the juliet pro embosser.
After setting up everything i got a message saying embossing but nothing seemed to be happening. I need the printer and the embosser to work otherwise i can't print my school work. Please could someone get back to me as soon as possible and help me resolve these issues.

Thanks
Chaman
