Hi,

If I understand you correctly, you tried connecting the serial port of your BN to the parallel port of the printer. If this is the case, it tells the story. You cannot connect a serial port to a parallel port. You would need a converter to do this.

hello list.
i tried to use a hp laserjet printer via the serial port. I got a message saying that the printing was complete. But i had nothing print from the printer. I tried to check the communication with the two devices by taking the serial cable out of the bn. After taking out the serial cable i received the same message as before, (printing complete)

The other thing i tried to do was emboss using the juliet pro embosser.
After setting up everything i got a message saying embossing but nothing seemed to be happening. I need the printer and the embosser to work otherwise i can't print my school work. Please could someone get back to me as soon as possible and help me resolve these issues.

Thanks
Chaman
