Well, the test is in braille. I will just dictate the answers and they will
be filled on a bubble sheet.

I have not been following this thread but did want to comment on this.
While using a reader is a reasonable accommodation, unless they are going
to
braille your test it is not equal. By using the braillenote, we are able
to
"read" not listen to a test just like our sighted peers.
If a person is going to cheat, they will find any way to do it. Using a
reader could provide the student the opportunity to cheat. Unless the
reader is provided for them. But then that brings a disadvantage to the
student because a new reader on the spot does not know how the student
prefers things to be read.
As a last note, and to make sure we stay on topic, I know several students
that use a braillenote to take a test. They are very successful and take
the class right in the class room and can ask questions as allowed and get
the same last minute information as their peers. I personally was
disadvantage on a test because I had to take it at the DSS office and did
not know what a prof was asking for on a section because he explained it
that day during class to my peers.

Personally, I don't know about using a braille note on a test, but if we
are
expected to take tests, especially post secondary that are administered
via
computer than we should have some access to the testing and not be
expected
to use a reader. Obviously if the test is being given to others in a
printed format than a reader is a reasonable accommodation, but if
mainstream is using the computer to take the tests then we should be able
to
do so also.

Mike, you still have the cheating factor as well as the fact that sighted
students are not allowed to use computers, calculators or PDAs for
testing.
