Well some toilet soaps do seem to leave a residue on your hands or face after you rinse them off. Dove is one-quarter cold cream! And cold cream likes to stick around on your skin after you rinse off the soap! Not sure about Camay, but I think it too has a bit of a residue. Guess it pays to wash your fingers with Ivory, Pears or Castile if you can still buy it. Relatively gentle toilet soaps with seemingly no residues. Brian Brian K.
