Thanks for all thoughts. I've read all posts and can't respond personally at this time, but be sure I'm off to find something other than Dove which may have contributed to the problem. Guess I'll have more than one bar of soap around on the sink from now on! ...

I've probably done this one to death so, thanks again all of you!

Lotions might be a cause, too. I hate hand lotions, because with out
thinking, sometimes I rub my eyes. I want my hands as clean as posible.
I handle xerox and resycling a lot, so washing my hands with just water,
frequently, is a must.

I have not yet had any trouble with my braille display on my past BN or
my M-power, but did have a malfunctioning dot on my old braille display.

Dear Carol and list:

Well some toilet soaps do seem to leave a residue on your hands or face
after you rinse them off.

Dove is one-quarter cold cream! And cold cream likes to stick around on
your skin after you rinse off the soap!

Not sure about Camay, but I think it too has a bit of a residue.

Guess it pays to wash your fingers with Ivory, Pears or Castile if you
can still buy it. Relatively gentle toilet soaps with seemingly no
residues.
