Never heard of that before. Try charging it then reseting it again. When you say it is any other resets that do anything with the braillenote, what do you mean by that?

First of all, thank you everyone for your replies. I did not
expect to receive so many in such a short time.
With that said, most of them contain at least this question,
so I felt as if it would be far easier for me to send a message directly to the list, rather than to each individual. I hope this is alright with you all.
I have tried a service reset. It is the only one that
elicits any response; the braille display clicks briefly, clearly attempting to display something (upon checking it I merely see some garbage test which quickly fades).. However, no reset except the first one, that seemingly was the one to crash the system in the first place, produces a beep or other "normal" response. In fact most produce nothing at all.

Thanks again for everyone's help,
Michael Chang

Hi, Michael,

Did you try a service reset?

Earlier today, I was using my BrailleNote mPower BT 32
(KeySoft
7.2 build 47) normally, but when my USB drive caused a "Card not
recognized" error, as it seems to do sometimes, I reset it, as I
would normally do. Instead of starting up and working properly
like
many times before, however, the machine gave the usual beep
before
dying. I tried resetting, with no keys, dots 1-2-3, dots 4-5-6,
dots 4-5, and anything else I could come up with, but I am still
receiving no response. I even plugged in the AC adapter in case
it
was a battery issue, but that did not solve anything.
Is there anything left for me to do other than to send it in
for repair? I have a considerable number of files on the Flash
Disk, and I really can't afford to lose the data, or the
machine.
The machine is more important, however, and I am willing to try
just about anything to get it to work again so that I do not
find
myself in a very bad position at school, with no means of
writing.

Thank you very much,
Michael Chang
