I have long wanted to comment on this and looks like I'ma finally
get my chance! I have two braille lite forties. One of which is
over 12 years old and still going strong doing well thank you
very much! I get about 24 if not more hours out of one charge
folks. What it does it does well. You can even use it on line
with a shell account. I'm not saying the braille note mpower
which I have and am using now is NOT a useful device I am however
saying that there is still use and a great deal of it to be
gotten out of these so-called legacy notetakers and they are to
be had cheap because most people don't want to bother with them
since they ain't running the latest and greatest version of
whatever crapped out software microshaft has seen fit to bur.: us
with.
Later yall
Jack

Subject: [Braillenote] More BrailleNote Misery
Hi, Joseph. Four years old didn't seem that old to me because I
have been accustomed to the reliability and long battery life of
my Braille Lite, which is eight years old, by the way, and is
functioning very nicely even as I write this. I see that
standards of longevity and battery power are lower in the
BrailleNote.
