Hi, yes, the clock can retain time for up to 30 days. I assume
this means that the bn can be used with no battery during that
time, am I correct? Secondly, when you inserted the batery, did
you hear the reset beep that indicated a reset? Check that the
battery is inserted all the way.

Subject: [Braillenote] problem with battery
Dear all.
I placed a replacement battery on my braille note. But
apparently braillenote apex does not recognize it. When I check
battery status it shows "battery removed on AC adaptor" This
happens even when ac adaptor is not plugged in. Does braillenote
apex stores energy to use when there is no battery or power? Is
there something that I should do to ensure I get the correct
battery information?
