That was mostly with the other (older) case. With the apex facing you, as though you were going to type, and lit open, feel the back right corner. A strap runs from the top to the bottom, to the right of the ethernet port. This should be a solid strap. The original cases had this as a velcro strap, and the velcro would stretch and loosen over time, letting the apex slide around and eventually fall out of the case. As long as the strap on your case is not velcro, you are fine. The velcro on the sides can be fragile, or maybe just cheap, especially on the ac power jack side. That is what happened on my case anyway.
