There do not appear to be any straps on the back side of my unit
(I have a BT.) It is just continuous leather, from what I can
tell.

The sides, the flaps that cover the side-mounted ports and

that is, are velcro. What should not be is the strap on the
right side
of the back face of the unit. You will see four such straps, one
on
the left corder, one between the USB ports and the SD card slot,

betwee an LED and the VGA port, and the fourth to the right of
the DSL
port. This fourth one should be solid, but the old cases hat it
velcro. If it is velcro, hw should replace the case for free.

Congrats on the Apex! For me, the case has not broken. Although
I just got mine not too long ago, and I think the issue was with
the older units, although I could be wrong there. Can somebody
correct me on this if I am?
