Congratulations for getting a new apex. I have 4 months with my
apex and the case has not been damaged. The things I can
recommend you are keeping liquids away, not hitting it, and not
touching the display if your hands are not clean. Congratulations

I just got my Apex today. I've heard in the past that its case
can be fragile and may break. Has this happened to anyone? Are
