I have been wishing for this kind of thing as well.  Being a trainer of the Bn 
and Vn, I have both seen students needing  to send there machine in as well as 
I did at one time.  I was lucky enough to have one at work to borrow.  Perhaps 
people who have a sma could be guaranteed a loaner if they needed one.  For the 
people who could not or did not want to do a sma, perhaps if PDI implimented a 
small loaner's fee.  This would of course cut into the amount of machines they 
could put out at a time, because they would have to keep a certain number set 
aside for users.  This particular subject is one of the biggest complaints I 
have heard from state rehabilitation councilors who are choosing a personal 
data organizer for there client.
