When you are in the middle of downloading messages on the PK, do a space
with e. Then, do a space with h to see what options you have. If you hit
i, the PK seems to stop downloading email immediately, and then leaves what
has been downloaded so far on the server, even though those messages have
been downloaded to the PK. But, if you hit y, the PK seems to finish
downloading the current email, and then deletes what has been downloaded so
far to the PK off the server. Note that, in trying this, I have downloaded
to the PK, read and then deleted the messages on the PK, and then gone back
later to see what messages are downloaded to my PC.

If you've told the PK to delete the messages from the server, they will be
gone if they have downloaded to the PK. Once it's downloaded all you have,
it will stop on its own. I don't know if you can cancel in middownload for
sure or not; I've never tried that, and I don't remember if I read it in the
manual. I hadn't been in the mail since friday, and when I went to download,
there were eight-hundred.
