Hi. I believe that sbc offers web email access, but that certainly is quite
a bit more cumbersome than reading one's email normally through the email
client.
The problem with sbc's pages is there are tons of links on the page. You'd
have to use the find command to make this work.
Much better for PDI to acknowledge and fix the problem quickly.

Hi Paul,
Of course, if your ISP offers a Webmail interface to your account, you could
always go in like that with the PK - that's what I have to do if I haven't
got a desktop machine to hand due to the problem of not being able to send
to my smtp server because I get the error 501 message which both Dean and
Jonathan have long since acknowledged is a problem for some ISPs.
Cheers.
Paul.

That may be true, but what if you are in a position where you don't have a
pc?
I normally download my 3-400 messages per day using a pc, but sometimes, I
am away from home for a few days and have no other choice. It's better than
coming home to 2-3000 messages.
If one has enough memory, downloading any mumber of emails shouldn't be an
issue for the bn.
