Voice Note is my only unit at home. I have had it for a couple of
years, and it downloads close to 100 emails a day, often more if I skip
a day or two. If the machine stops online the first step is not a
reset. The first step is to hit chord h (h with the space bar) to hear
the options and what is really going on. Sometimes I just have to hit
return to finish downloading the email that is too long. Sometimes I
have the opportunity to delete the email that's not downloading
anyway. Reset is usually my very last resort.
Check the options before you make a decision during an email session.
I'm assuming, of course, that the units with the upgrades still have
these options but that people forget to use them if they can rush off to
the PC. (grin.).
