Hi, Just got my brewtus, replacing Silvia.
Using same grinder (mazzer mini) and dose/tamp technique, with stock brewtus portafilter and 2 shot basket, brewing at the default 95 temp. Coffee is certainly good, at least as good as Silvia, but I was hoping to get to another level - to see that reddish crema with tiger stripes and get really syrupy body. Could be the coffee (using Gorilla coffee roasted 1 week ago), and maybe i should try the la marzocca ridgeless basket i was using w/ silvia. And i probably need to tweak my barista processes given the new machine. But i figured i'd ask here - aside from the user manual, are there other "standard" tips to try w/ brewtus? Thanks! --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Brewtus" group.
