I have to agree with KMC, try pulling your shots a little longer, my
best seem to be 28-30 seconds. I also do more than the standard 14g,
closer to 17-19g depending on how old the beans are getting. I have
had good luck with beans up to 12 days old with this formula. I am
using the same setup as you, Mazzer Mini, but a bottomless portafilter
so I can see if its my level/tamp or if the grind is just off. Hope
