A gentleman on HB who gave up his warranty and spent a bunch of time 
watching things with the covers off discovered that the afterburner 
always turns on at 7:30 and causes the roast to cool a bit at that 
instant. The 2 minute pre-heat pushes that to 9:30 which seems to 
help. Somewhere between 2 and 3 minutes the roaster will get hot 
enough it won't re-start so you can't push the per-heat to far.

Behmor thing just allows you to easily see the timing of the profile 
and selections you've chosen.  It makes it especially easy to figure 
out when the power drop in P2 is going to happen, so yes, BehmorThing 
helped me figure that out.  Mostly since I run it in parallel it lets 
me see how the roast is doing in relation to the profile progress and 
keep a record so I can make minor changes on the next roast if I've 
missed on this one.
