Howard, Each machine is tested extensively at our location. The brew pressure and the steam pressure are set. We also check all the fitting inside and verify that they are perfect. It sound like when it was put together the tube got kinked. I am very sorry about that. Also in regards to the brew pressure. It is perfectly normal for the Brew Pressure gauge to show pressure either high or low, at anytime, even while sitting idle. As the water in the boiler heats pressure builds up.
