Have you given the machine a good cleaning? Drop the screen and scrub
it with Cafiza, and clean the grouphead as well. Backflush the
innards with a blind portafilter and 1/2 tsp of Cafiza. Do this about
5 times and rinse at least 10.
The Brewtus can reach a level of coffee "dirt" pretty quickly with a
lot of usage. Unless cleaned, every shot will have a bitter, nasty
taste.
