You can boil the screen in cafiza for about half an hour or an hour to clean 
it.  Wait a minute, that is actually a tip from Dave B!  I stand corrected, he 
DID once contribute something!  Though in his usual condescending way, telling 
us basically that we were all stupid to be buying replacement screens for our 
shitty machines, which we're idiots to own in the first place.  :)

Anyhow, it's a good trick and will keep your precision screen in top form.
