Title: Descale
Hello,

So I turned the Brewtus on again a few weeks ago. It showed a new symptom of barely being able to dispense water out the hot water dispenser. Today I decided to attack the problem. Right after turning the machine off I turned on the hot water and saved it into some cups. Turned out to be just about 18 ounces of water. Put 20 ounces of white vinegar into a 1 qt silicon measuring cup, took both hoses out of the tank and put them in the vinegar and turned on the machine. Watch the time as you're not supposed to run the pump for to long. I turned it off after 30 seconds, waited a minute and then let it finish filling. Let it heat to one bar, let just enough water run through the hot water till I smelled vinegar and turned the machine off for an hour.

Then I did this until the water coming out smelled clean, about 4 times:

Thoroughly cleaned the quart measure, filled it with water and put the hoses back
Heat the boiler till the red light just goes off
       Turn off the machine
Turn on the hot water till all the water that will come out has come out. I drained it into another measuring cup so I could more easily dump the liquid and I didn't want to chance having the vinegar stain anything, also, the hot water is very splashy and putting it in a tall container minimizes the splashing

And now the hot water works just like new. If you make a lot of milk drinks it's the steam side that will get scaled. I'm to blame because I never got around to hooking up my water softener. Did that during the hour I was waiting for the vinegar to work.
