Hi David, I had an identical problem to your issue on few times on my Brewtus III-R.
It has been a few years but I believe I was having issues with my pressure-stat sticking on the steam boiler after I had misadjusted it to get more steam pressure. All I had to do is adjust it a few turns one way and then back. The other thing to watch out for is the vacuum breaker on my model would spit before it sealed causing water on the temperate probe connector on the PID. I cleaned the calcium off the vacuum breaer to have it seal better. I have had to replace the temperature probe on the brew boiler before because of this. -Jeff On Sunday, November 6, 2016 at 8:25:52 AM UTC-7, David Adkins wrote: > I have a Brutus 4 and I turned it on left it to heat up and came back and it > showed A2 and lots of water around the machine really hot gauge said 220. > So turned it on again next day zoomed right up to 240 or more shut it off. > Checked inside no loose wires looked good but the high temp thing had tripped > so i reset it.
