Ben,

I never checked the house psi but figured it was higher than the 
recommended pressure to the machine of sub 40, thus the regulator. I don't 
recall this when it wasn't plumbed but I was probably too distracted by the 
glossy finish! Anyway, it seems to relax when it's all heated up. Tomorrow 
am going to watch the needle and the OPV for any odd behavior again.
