I live in Turkey. There were a couple of translations of Banks works to
Turkish and I've bought Wasp Factory, but haven't read it yet. Then I
ordered Considered Phlebas and Use of Weapons from
Amazon.co.uk. They are 7 pounds and minus discount plus shipping
cost me as much. I instantly fell in love with his style.
Since then I orederdd and recieved Player of Games and The State of
the Art. Just finished Player of Games. The books list 8 Iain M.
Banks book (which are science-fiction) and 9 Ian Banks (fiction?)
books. These are Orbit large format paperback editions (with a *not
for sale in the USA* mark on them.
I used to order from Amacon.com but with the slowest shipping it
took 5 to 6 weeks. Now from UK I get my books in 5 days. Though in
terms of Turkish Liras, I'm always in.USA is cheaper.
