His other novels are interesting too. A couple have s-f elements (The
Bridge, for example), or fantasy (Walking On Glass, A Song Of Stone). The
rest are a mixed bag.

The one thing that connects all his books is his imagination. Even the
descriptions of the game "Despot" that run through Complicity are fabulous
(I want that game, by the way...)...

In my top five favourite books, 2 are Banks: Player Of Games and The Crow
Road.
