Yes, we should instead pass trade embargoes and deny those arrogant Chinese
the ability to manufacture and export goods. Damn them for being more
efficient and cheaper than our poor underpriviledged American workers. :P

If someone can do my job cheaper at the same level of competence, I can't
object to being replaced. I'm not biased against their nationality.
(No, of course it's not that simple, but hey - it was a rant.)

PS: Will we ever elect a President who engaged in email discussions when
younger? Part of our culture is based around an implicit memory loss -
no-one has records of (say) GWB's young adult conversations. And that's
probably a good thing - I'm a somewhat different person than I was 5 or 10
years ago, and wouldn't want things I said then to represent me *now*.
However, some such things are recorded for all posterity.
