That's true......  A great many Americans these days definitely would not
care.

Well, its like this.   I have had beer on a couple occasions.   Well, I
should say that I've had a mL of beer on two occasions before spitting out
the nasty dirt-suspended-in-water excuse for a beverege.   I don't really
have any moral opposition to drinking (ala Mr. Ashcroft), other than the
fact that I have very little respect for ever getting drunk.    In fact, I
will drink wine socially - and *once* I actually liked the stuff, amazingly
enough.   Otherwise, for me a good 'ol Shirley Temple is as the nectar of
the gods compared to that nasty alchohol-poisoned stufff.... :)
