Maybe in the US, but it isn't that easy here in The Netherlands. First, we
currently have enormous problems finding people for any kind of job. The
current estimate is that we'll be short of some 150,000 high-skilled
workers in the next three years. Now that most people here have a decent
education, it's almost impossible to find people to do low-paid unskilled work.
Second, if you want to hire other workers you'll have to lay off the
current workers -- and it's not that easy to lay off people here as it
seems to be in the US. In my country, you can't even lay off your staff for
going on strike.
