The only way I know of to avoid paying the social security taxes if you
work in the US is to work for some entity that is somehow exempt. IIRC,
teachers in Texas pay into the state teachers retirement fund and not into
Social Security, and that's the only organization I know of that has that
exemption.
I might be wrong on this, though.
