It woudl generate an awful lot of tourism.

Plus, it would make one hell of a roller-blade course.

Yeah, there's some benefits - but nowheres near the cost.   Which is
exactly my point about the Mission to Mars.   Not everything that has
benefits gets done - for good reason.   Which also happens to be exactly my
point about environmentalism.
