U.S. Presidents who have died in office:
President Year elected Year died
William Henry Harrison 1840 1841
Zachary Taylor 1848 1850
Abraham Lincoln 1860 1865
James A. Garfield 1880 1881
William McKinley 1900 1901
Warren G. Harding 1920 1923
Franklin Delano Roosevelt 1940 1945
John F. Kennedy 1960 1963
Lucky for someone (maybe Ronn?) I had an almanac at hand to look up all
this stuff. I knew about Harrison, Taylor, Lincoln, Roosevelt and
Kennedy off the top of my head, but had to look up year of death on the
others. Note that Taylor wasn't elected in a year ending in "0", but
died in one, at least.
