If you really want to watch for history repeating itself:

Every President elected in a year ending in "0" since Martin van Buren has
either died in office or been shot while in office (Reagan being the only
one that did not die.)

And if you really believe such numerology, I have a number of betting
propositions that I can offer, beginning with the Buffalo Bills being 0-3
on Halloween.......
