It does not. It will only lead to further violence, since Palestinian
extremists will certainly seek revenge for such an attack, especially if and
when Palestinians were killed in the attack.

It does not. It will only lead to further violence, since many Palestinians
will seek revenge for such killings. The only leaders that dissident
factions will listen to are that faction's leaders. If you replace Arafat
with one of those leaders, the other factions will still continue to fight
-- against said new leader as well as against Israel.

It will not lead to anything else than more hatred, fear, and further acts
of violence. Every Palestinian attack will lead to Israel taking revenge,
and every Israeli attack will lead to Palestinians taking revenge. Unless
one side decides NOT to strike back and thus break the spiral of violence,
the violence will go on till there is nobody left to fight.
